I got an adapter cord so that I can charge at the new charging stations being installed. I stopped by the one at the library in Redmond for a test run. Everything worked perfectly. Now I have to come up with a way to find all the charging stations. It seems like every place selling these stations have there own maps. There needs to be a master map that shows all of them for this to really work.

Glad to hear that the Triac is working well. Any guess when Green Vehicles will start shipping lots of them?
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew. I think the hold up is still the improved motor controller combination.
ReplyDeleteThey did tell me that because I have been working very close with them that I was going to get the upgrade when it does become available. I hope it is true.
I believe a lot of it has to do with keeping the costs down as well. The problem with all new technology is it is expensive. i wish they would just go with DC instead of AC. The cost is a lot lower, and there are alot of ones to chose from.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the input. I really like the Triac and wish I could get one. But I don't think they are street legal in Massachusetts. They don't allow, 3 wheeled, covered, 2 passenger vehicles.
